Tools needed to build a pulser can vary greatly according to your skill level.  It is possible to build an entire machine with just a knife and a screwdriver.  To do a really nice job, here is what you will need:

1.       A soldering iron

2.      Wire cutters

3.      Wire crimpers

4.      Screwdrivers

5.      Rosin core solder

6.      An adjustable wrench

7.      Wire stripper

8.      Scissors for cutting tape

 

 

I am not going to make an attempt to give instructions on “how to solder”.  You either know how or you don’t, and the only way to learn how is to do it.  If the instructions say to “tin” a wire, that means to coat it with solder.  Tinning a wire adds alot of strength and helps it to not fray.  The soldering iron needed should be fairly heavy duty.  Probably at least 150 watts will be needed.
